Agroproduct sh.p.k is a large-scale producer of cultivated and wild-collected organic products in Kosovo. The company currently has 30 collection centres and operate over five certified zones across Kosovo for wild-collected products. The company is certified with standards such as EU-Bio 834/2007, Bio Suisse, bi-OS for seeds and seedlings, and the FairWild Standard. From 2009, it has also been licensed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Republic of Kosovo (MAFRD) for the cultivation and collection of plants and forest products.

Hope for collectors and the planet
Agroproduct is grateful for the hard work of their wild collectors. The workers will freely decide what to spend the FairWild premium fund on. The company hopes that through this, they will continue to be motivated to do this important work and to preserve their traditional knowledge about wild plants.
Golden rules
Collectors abide by the ‘Golden Rules’ for sustainable collection. They are trained on the percentage permitted for collection of each plant part and monitoring takes place in the collection area to review impact on the environment. Protecting the environment that these plants come from and ensuring a secure future for them is of the highest importance to Agroproduct.
