August 2020 - With wild sourced herb products increasingly in demand in the current global crisis, consumers are increasingly asking how to be sure that the products they use are benefitting people and planet, and brands are increasingly looking to use certified ingredients to demonstrate their ethical credentials to consumers.
Following on from our successful webinar for brands held at the end of May, we will be continuing our series with a webinar exploring how to implement the FairWild Standard and certify wild harvested ingredients. With input from special guest presenters, we'll cover the social, environmental and fair trade aspects of the Standard - including fair prices and premiums for wild harvesters, establishing wild harvest management plans and monitoring systems, and negotiating equitable trading partnerships with buyers.
