Stand up for wild plants

Without wild plants and the ingredients they provide the landscape of human existence would look very different.

We’ll show you why you should care about wild plants and how we can all be part of the solution …

STEP 1 : AM I USING WILD PLANTS?

Definitely!! Around 30,000 plant species have medicinal or aromatic uses and between 60–90% of those in use around the world are wild collected.

STEP 2 : WHERE AM I LIKELY TO FIND WILD PLANTS IN MY SHOP?

The wilderness is closer than you think …. hidden wild plant ingredients are everywhere, here’s where you might find them and steps you can take to find out:

Pharmaceuticals

25% of all pharmaceuticals come from plants.

Common plant-inspired drugs include aspirin, which was originally derived from the willow tree. Wild plants are also used in traditional medicines and remedies by millions of people across the world.
